As a hair designer for more than forty years, and a salon studio owner in West Chester, Ohio, Marci Tangi watched her industry grow, from five hair products to over 5,000. It’s a good thing. These products improve the condition of our hair and solve a myriad of hair/scalp related problems that were once inconceivable.
Over the decades, trends in hair styling have also changed. Growing older no longer looks the same. Our hair is healthier. Glamorous hair cuts, styles and colors aren’t relegated to the rich and famous. This is the reason she fell in love with the beauty industry. The moment Marci witnessed the transformation of a good hair, color, and style had on a client, she was hooked. Her creative energy was ignited. It has fueled her desire to learn and master her craft’s techniques daily.
With all the emerging changes in the hair industry, there are challenges that need to be met. Training and Education Classes play a key role. Relying on newcomers from Beauty Schools to be fully trained and ready to perform their best is unrealistic. As an experienced Educator, Marci has trained many hair designers in her career, working with Redken and Goldwell.
