Hair Tips & Tricks/Consumer Education
Whether you are watching Bravo’s “Shear Genius” cable show or reading Vogue magazine, it’s hard to escape the onslaught of advice about your hair from the beauty industry. You’ll stumble upon useful tips, with promises of a hairstyle that rivals your favorite celebrities. So it helps to have a guide to sift through the facts and the faux.
At Tangi’s Salon, we consider it our pleasure to be your guide. We’ll work together to customize and create a hair style, cut and color that illuminates the “Star” in you. And, we’ll arm you with the education you need to recreate your stylish look daily.
Educating our clients doesn’t stop with an in-salon visit. Marci Tangi has been teaching hair care consumer-based classes and seminars for small groups, businesses and corporations since the late 1980s. She also trains and educates hair designers, working for salons around the country.
Hair Tips & Tricks
TIP 1 Does the cold weather have your fine hair standing on end, literally? The static is caused by a lack of moisture in your hair, so a conditioner is a must, this time a year. Try a leave-in conditioner. KMS has a great leave in for fine, thin hair that adds volume and moisture. You’ll be glad you tried it.
TRICK 1 Would you like to have your hair style stay in place overnight? You can with a satin pillow case! Your cotton pillow case absorbs products and oil off your scalp and roughs up your hair as you sleep. It keeps your skin care products on your face, and sleeping lines off your face!
